Average LABOR Cost for installing pro-kit springs, Dampers, and Anti Roll Bar kit?

I might purchase the Pro-System Plus made by Eibach, and If I do, Iam buying the set from TireRack for $778 to install on a 99 CIVIC EX. I wanted to know how much is the average labor work to install them. I live in Newark, NJ. How do you find a shop to trust besides online feedback?|||You're going to be looking about $400-$600 for labor alone. They will have to remove all of your old struts, remove all of your old springs so they can reuse the old strut bearing/plate. It's basically a stock replacement except with different products. The anti-roll bars are going to be a pain because it takes some time to snake them into position, but it really isn't all that hard.

Most conventional shops will not want to do it because it's not their products and because they are altering stock suspension. And they'll want to do an alignment (which you should do also) for about $100 on top of that labor. You'll most likely have to go to a tuner shop. The only way to figure out if they're any good is through word of mouth. However, suspensions are fairly simple--especially since you have a pretty standard set-up.

My recommendation, however, if you are going to get serious about your car is to do the suspension yourself. It shouldn't take more than a weekend for a brand new person who has never worked on a car before. My sister swapped out the shocks and struts of her 94 Integra for Apexi WS coilovers in a day in a half without knowing anything about cars. She bought strut bearings from the autoparts store so she didn't have to compress any of her old springs. It was an in and out process.
