Cant get cavalier drop links to fit?
Hi Im struggling to get the new droplinks I bought to fit the anti roll bar on my k reg cavalier. They are the ones without the ball joint on the end. They are the correct ones.I have put them on and hit them very hard with a large hammer but i cant get them far enough along the anti roll bar in order to connect with the hole in the wishbone .What am I doing wrong .What should I try next ?Thanks|||Drop links come in two different sizes for the Cavalier? Measure the anti roll bar diameter to make sure you have the right ones?To fit them, clean off the rust on the anti roll bar with emery paper until its shining. Then use washing up liquid on the bush to get it up the bar and into the right position.Next fit the washer and top bush to the bolt of the drop link, then lever it down into the wishbone with a crow bar and fit the lower bush, washer and nut.Hope this helps|||Clean up the ARB. Use shitloads of washing-up liquid, and press the bush on gently, using whatever method. It may take a while. It's worth it, Cav's are fast becoming an endangered species.|||clean up the anti roll bar heat it up with gas torch put some grese on new bush push it on with your hands cool it down sorted
